Call for Submissions: Re-visioning Medusa: from Monster to Divine Wisdom

We are having so much fun with the My Name is Medusa book that we decided to put together an anthology too!

The Girl God is accepting submissions for our upcoming Anthology of women’s writing: Re-visioning Medusa: from Monster to Divine Wisdom. 

“Medusa is one of those ancient goddesses who was converted into a monster by later cultures.” -Patricia Monaghan

We want to hear from women about their insight into the greatly misunderstood Goddess. Personal essays (up to 2,500 words), academic papers, poetry and (black and white) art are welcome.

We hope to radically re-vision this misunderstood Goddess.
