Ode to the Goddess by Kaali Cargill



I am the Queen of Sheba, more beautiful than all the rest; 

I am the night-hag, more terrible than your worst fears. 
Don’t try to hold me still. 

Things change. 

Time moves. 

The coins on my hip girdle ring – like bells – as I dance between 

           the worlds.
